“Head to Yarramundi Reach for a dip in the summer but is also great spot to
have a picnic anytime of the year. You get a great view!”

(and an Asian inspired snack at the same time)

Meet Natasja (owner & barista)

Adventure 1 – My favourite spot to go to in CBR after a busy day at work with my friends and dog Luna is the Old Canberra Inn, it’s a great place to unwind and the pub feed is unreal – i always go for the vegan burger or the chicken schnitzel and their chips are the best !!!! Also Frugii for an ice cream.

Adventure 2 – I always go to The Hive if I need to buy a gift –  they stock a lot of local artists too

Adventure 3Weston park, is always a winner for a view of the sunset / a hike up Mount Ainslie

Adventure 4Paranormal wine for drinks, or Yarralumla Kebab on your way to western park for a sunset dinner and stroll otherwise I love to go to Tak Kee Roast Inn for a great cheap eat – Never disappointed by any of those choices.

Adventure 5The Cameron Offices by John Andrews. Sadly, this important building has been partially demolished. The most outstanding example in Australia of a house in the brutalist style is the Harry and Penelope Seidler house at Killara, Sydney. The UC student residence is the most notable and probably the only example in Canberra.
