Introducing a sweet Single O satellite project in Japan!

Our antique, restored UG22 Probat roaster is in place, the green bean sourcing for our launch coffees is complete, the stars have aligned and we’re off and roasting in Tokyo.

Leading the project is Yu Yamamoto, our roaster of many years here in Sydney, and also barista, hospitality all-rounder, Q Grader, business development manager…there’s no end to what this man can do.

Not ones to do things by half measures, we’re roasting a custom house blend, three origins for both espresso and filter extractions, and offering barista training, coffee cupping and education and machine tech support.

Thanks to the Tokyo baristas & coffee industry people that have shown us a warm welcome so far. The coffee scene here is mad!
