REUSABLES ARE BACK ON THE MENU
Corona’s knocked us all sideways in more ways than we could name… & whilst staying open & serving take-aways has kept us sane & solvent, we’re more than keen to pick-up where we left off with our collective fight against single-use.
Which is why *drum roll*, we’re now accepting your reusable cups again at Sideshow, Surry Hills side.
This is a fight close to our hearts, having pledged 3 years ago (nearly to the day) to cut our single use waste in half. Before the Rona rudely interrupted all our lives, we’d pretty much hit that mark & want to not only get back there ASAP but go even further this time (more on that to follow).
Now, we understand there’s valid health concerns around reuseables so have come up with a system that kills two birds with one KeepCup (or Kinto, mug, vase, whatever vessel you desire that’ll hold a coffee).
Here’s how we’re handling reusables (welcoming any of our café friends to follow suit):
REUSABLE CUPS THE NON-CONTACT WAY
STEP 1:
Place your coffee order at the counter
STEP 2:
Hang on to your reusable cup, wait for your name to be called & step right up to where you’d usually collect your coffee
STEP 3:
Place re-usable cup on counter & your friendly barista will pour your coffee in without touching it
STEP 4:
Enjoy a delicious Single O coffee & feel good about saving waste & staying safe
We hope to see you at the cafe soon with your reusable. We’ve also got some other exciting things brewing that’ll help you help the planet more. This time from inside your cup.
