Introducing the Single O ‘Suitster’, our Surry Hills breakfast creation for the October Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Month that combines the best of a power suit breakfast (think omega 3’s and antioxidants) with hipster trimmings (we’re talking filter coffee and the ultimate quinoa showdown).
Move over Portland hipsters, step aside LA health nuts, go home New York Wall Street yuppies, Sydney’s ‘Suitster’ breakfast is here!
For $20, the breakfast features a smoked trout, avocado and poached egg parcel with organic quinoa, herb and nut salad.
There’s also a watermelon and strawberry fruit shot, and the coffee, get a load of this, is a ‘Killerbee Coldie’; Our Killerbee blend with honeycomb infused water and mandarin. What the!
This is the fifth year we’ve taken part in the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Month, with past offerings such as ‘Origin Breakfasts’, where the breakfast dish origins matched that of the coffee served alongside it, through to last year’s ‘Breakfast Yum Cha’, serving a Cascara coffee tea and other breakfast twists on traditional yum cha.
And year number five comes alive with not just a great breakfast, but a Suitster dress theme too. Hope you’ll match us and come in rocking your best tie matched with your beanie.
The Suitster breakfast is available Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 11.45am throughout October. (Excluding weekends & public holidays) Walk-ins are welcome or bookings can be made at the café on (02) 9211 0665.
NB: A vegetarian ‘Suitster’ breakfast is also available.
