next stop: yurakucho
We've opened our fifth Tokyo cafe - just off the Ginza Exit of the JR Yurakucho Station. Our most central location yet and in one of Tokyo's busiest transport hubs, this 14-seat cafe is our first in a train station.
Designed to showcase high quality coffee at bullet train speed, Yurakucho serves the 120,000 commuters that pass through the station daily. Fast paced, finely tuned, and full of Single O heart - get onboard!
TICKET TO BREW
Balancing station efficiency with our signature hospitality, the six free-pour batch taps are the star of the show - serving oat lattes, matchas, and rotating single origins in just seven seconds. With the ability to serve 18 coffees in 30 seconds, Yurakucho's tap bar is exactly what we envisioned back when we co-created these taps with Six Simple Machines - quality coffee at the speed and scale of a Tokyo train station.
On our trackside taps, we've pulled out all the stops including Colombia Papayo from the legendary Holguin Family (a rare DSS on tap!), a delectable washed Ethiopia Wonago from the high altitudes of the mountainous Yirgacheffe region, and a vibrant Kenya Gichathaini AA. Not to mention, familiar faves like Oasis, our signature Oat Iced Latte, and refreshing iced matcha lattes are now pouring.
For those who have an extra minute, there's a dedicated V60 brew bar fully stocked by our mates at Hario. And our reliable 2-group Linea PB from the legends at La Marzocco hasn't gone anywhere. Alongside our OG Reservoir Blend, we're serving up flatties and caps for a taste of home.

FULL STEAM AHEAD ON SUSTAINABILITY
While Yurakucho is compact in both size and environmental footprint, its fit-out is anything but. Designed by our long-time friends and collaborators at Luchetti Krelle, it's design was inspired by the energy of Tokyo - more specifically of the fast-paced nature of its transportation links - to prioritise efficiency while balancing hospitality, warmth, and sustainability.
As usual, the cafe is kitted out with recycled plastic tables from our Botany neighbours Defy Designs, up-cycled chairs by Flange Plywood, and ceramics from Aussie ceramicist and dear friend, Malcolm Greenwood. Even the coasters and serving boards repurpose green bean jute sacks as a part of our Re:Jute initiative. All the Single O signatures - just station-sized!
To top it all off, striking original art work by Tokyo artist, Ryuji Kamiyama, keeps our tradition of championing local creatives well and truly on track.
