NSW's largest dedicated coffee grounds upcycling project is now LIVE in Sydney with the launch of Giving A Puck!
We're chuffed at the force our coffee community brought to the party to help us give Reground a flying start at working their magic in Sydney this week.
On Monday 27 October, we hosted an industry rally that saw 100+ of our coffee-crazed mates come together on the rooftop of Single O, Surry Hills. With food from Rising Sun Workshop, coffee negronis on tap, and a powerful Giving A Puck panel moderated by Rachael from La Marzocco to discuss the importance of discarding spent coffee with as much care as we source, roast, and brew it, it was a (windy) evening to remember. Thanks to everyone who came out to learn more and usher in a new era of specialty coffee making.

On Tuesday, we gathered our friends from the media for a panel discussion with Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney City, Jess Miller and Masterchef Andy Allen at the Three Blue Ducks. A special thanks to the Ducks for a beautiful no-waste lunch.
Finally, on launch day, we gave away 400 cups of dirt (with coffee tree seeds planted)! Thanks for braving the rainy weather and Giving A Puck with us.

WHAT THE PUCK IS GIVING A PUCK?
Our mission behind Giving A Puck? Give Reground a flying start in Sydney to work their magic. And for us and our café community? Upcycle coffee with as much care as we source, roast and brew it.
