ARTIST NO.36 MILLER ONE ARTIST NO.36 MILLER ONE

From the early days of working double hospo shifts to creating our 36th Single O Art Bag, coffee's a community Miller is more than familiar with.

When Miller One puts pen to pad, or brush to canvas, or spray to wall, you can be sure he's doing more than just filling up space. Fuelled by strong flat whites from his local, Splash in Petersham, and a curiosity for street subcultures, Miller One's art buzzes with energy reflective of the cities he's inspired by.

While his morning ritual at home is slow and marked by meditative V60 brews, Miller One's inspiration strikes in flashes from the hustle of big cities, the grit of skate culture, and the messy magic of everyday life. Much like the 70s jazz he plays while he works, his artwork feels alive like a city with a pulse.

Miller One's style is inspired by traditional tattooing, graffiti, and cyberpunk aesthetics. With bold shapes and high contrast, his work stands on its own in colour or black and white – making it perfect for our Art Bag palette.
This bag is self portrait of sorts – a line-up of coffee drinking toy soldiers, head full of steam-hearted love for the hundreds of passionate hands that made this coffee sing. From the early days of working double hospo shifts to now creating art for this coffee bag, it's a community he's more than familiar with.

So, here's to our army of coffee drinkers. To every step of the process from bean to cup. And to artists like Miller One, who remind us that strong coffee deserves bold strokes… and a bit of grit.
