Women Flipping the Script Women Flipping the Script
Women flipping the script from in coffee and hospo.
Our recent, limited release origin from Colombia El Tambo, brings together two forces of change from either end of our universe. ASMUCAFE, is a women-led co op of farmers and landowners, from Cauca, Colombia. They produce exceptional coffees, pushing quality and reinvesting to expand women’s participation locally. Their impact extends from Colombia to our own backyard where proceeds from each bag sold will be donated to Two Good Co, an Aussie social enterprise creating paid employment pathways in hospo for women taking the lead back and rebuilding their self worth and independence.

CHANGE YOU CAN TASTE
ASMUCAFE is a women-led association of farmers and landowners in El Tambo, Cauca. Each member runs her own plot, but quality is collective — agronomy, processing and market access are shared efforts.

They’re building stronger livelihoods through coffee, and a premium from this lot goes straight back into expanding opportunity and leadership for women in their community.
TWO GOOD CO

We’ve been brewing for Two Good for over two years and proudly supporting their team through training. Their work creates paid work and proper pathways back to independence for women who’ve experienced homelessness, domestic violence and complex trauma. Shifting agency back where it belongs. Real jobs. Real skills. Real momentum.

"Single O is not just a supplier of coffee - this is a deep and meaningful partnership which has impact at its heart."

We were excited to work in collaboration with Lissy of Two Good Co. (pictured below left) on the packaging design, which features her handwriting. Lissy popped into our roastery to work with the design team to make her mark on this special label. She’s an inspiring artist and game designer and we couldn’t be more proud to have worked with her on this project.

If you're out and about, check out The Fold by Two Good in Vic X Tower, North SYD, which recently opened and is pretty bloody great. If you’re around, grab a cup or a bag of El Tambo. Proceeds from every pack sold go straight back to Two Good, to back the work they’re doing with women.
